General technical conditions

When the Martin-Yachts website was created, it was tested for content legibility on the, then, leading operating systems and browsers of our target audience, presuming the users had a standard, unchanged system, with all the Plug-ins and standard software. The author and the programmers make no warranties of any kind that the contents of the website will be completely or correctly displayed on all the operating systems and browsers available worldwide.

All of the pages on the Martin-Yachts website are optimised for the browser Internet-Explorer, from version 4 upwards. As a rule, they also function on the Netscape browser from version 4 upwards; however, the full range of layout-technical services (for example underlined links while moving the mouse over a link) is only available from Netscape 6.2 upwards.

The Internet website was designed with various access possibilities in mind. Martin-Yachts offers you numerous fast access possibilities to more than 100 pages of content. They include:

An internal search engine with two search options (simple search, advanced search). This search can be reached directly from the homepage and from all other main category pages via the link "search".
An index page that lists all the pages in groups.
The navigation on the right-hand side of each page, which opens up into various sub-categories, accordingly.

The authors and operators make no warranties of any kind for the availability and the technical effectiveness of these access possibilities on your system.

The screen resolution should be at least 800*600 pixels and a colour resolution of 65.000 colours. To achieve the best results for our pages, we recommend a screen resolution of 1024*768 pixels and genuine colours (24-bit).

The authors and operators implement JavaScript for special effects, such as the weather data on the "News" and for all the OnMouseOver commands. Most pages, however, can also function without JavaScript (except for the weather data on the "News" page, and the interactive elements).

The authors and operators would like to point out, that there can be various technical grounds, which lie outside of our influence, as to why pages and their contents cannot be shown on your system, either completely, at any time, or some of the time.
