First impression

Frames run across the yacht and reinforce the hull and give it the shape envisaged by the yacht designer.

The first impression of the wooden frames was relatively positive.

In this photo, looking towards the bow, you can see the white steel frames and the dark wooden frames.

Engine section

The wooden frames in the area around the engine fundament and keelson also looked fine at first glance.

Unfortunately, this first impression proved to be deceiving after a nearer inspection.
