Stern frames

Harmonious shapes

The frames in the astern section reveal the soft and lengthy shapes of the yacht stern.

Here you can clearly see that we had to mount part of an old steel frame with wood, because it was so rusted through.

Rudder trunk

This floor plate in the stern section is shaped like a half-circle, because the rudder trunk will be fitted here later.

Flat frames

The height of the steel frames in the stern section of the Anitra is increasingly shrinking. Also those parts of the web frames pointing towards the planks, starting out from the stern beam, are becoming flatter.

Here you can see, on the left and on the right, the holes for the countersunk screws, which are used to attach the planks of hull.
