Guaranteeing stability Even though nearly everything was cleared out of the yacht, she still weighed over 10 tons. If we were to dismantle several or all of the steel frames at one time, the stability of the hull would be put at risk. |

Keeping control Not only attaching the new frames, but also dismantling the old ones requires great effort: The old rivets to the wood must be removed individually and then the porous steel frames must be carefully manouvered out. |
