Motor

The engine was fitted lengthwise into the Anitra’s hull.
In the foreground of the photo between the two black tubes, you can still see the propeller shaft astern.

Dismantled

After some maintenance, this engine could probably be fitted into another yacht and used again. Later on, another machine will be fitted into the Anitra. The yacht did not have an engine in its original state back in 1928.

The standard palette used here as a stand, really shows the huge dimensions of the motor.

Exhaust

Here you can see the huge exhaust, which was also fitted into the yacht’s hull.

Screw propeller

Here we have the classical construction form: a fixed screw propeller on a long shaft.
