Sailing and Motor Yachts in Mahogany and Teak

Completing the work on the frames

Protection

A protective guard was attached to all of the steel frames. This way, the boat builders were able to move freely on the steel frames, and the frames with their several special protective layers against salt water corrosion remained undamaged.

These brown wooden protectors on the frames indicate roughly the height the floor boards in the salon will be later on.

From the keel to the bow

In this view from the keel to the bow, you can clearly see the reinforced web frames in the mast section and the ever-narrowing frames in the bow.

Here in the keel section, you can clearly make out first the convex and then concave curvature of the S-frames.

A view to the astern

Here you can see the web frames in the stern area.

We finished the work on the frames in June 2004, exactly as planned.
Construction group 7 came next: Planking.
