Attaching the transom

Old stern

Further planks have been removed since dismantling the transom.

Here you can make out the elbow joint for the transom knee - the connecting part between the transom beam, deck and the transom, which now has to be attached.

Mounting

The new transom is mounted onto its future position using many clamps.

Gluing

All the parts are glued together to hold the transom in place.
